winner takes all

Richard Hannon's Tiggy Wiggy and Eddie Lynam's Anthem Alexander will meet for the third time this season with the scoreline currently at one apiece.

The clash of the two classY juvenile fillies is the highlight of a weekend which is all set to feature many intriguing juveniles at both Newmarket tomorrow and the Curragh on Sunday.

Lynam has earned plenty of plaudits for his cross-channel raids this season and rightly so as the results speak volumes about his ability to prepare a racehorse for battle.

Because of their last outing, it would look like Anthem Alexander faces an uphill task to reverse the outcome with Tiggy Wiggy, but you simply couldn't rule out the highly talented Queen Mary winner who may well make 9/2 look a very big price. Surprisingly enough, Aidan O'Brien has opted against making the trip to Newmarket with any of his string but he does hold plenty of significant entries at HQ on Sunday.

intriguing

Ol' Man River looks the pick of them, being a son of the mighty Galileo and top class race mare Finsceal Beo, and he will bid to make it two from two in the feature Group Two Juddmonte Beresford Stakes, but possibly the most intriguing runner over the weekend resides up the road in Rosewell as two-time winner Forgotten Rules appears in the Listed Loughbrown Stakes for Dermot Weld.
