The McNally Magic keeps a rolling
THE McNally maestros showed their calibre last Sunday.
Joe and the Nipper were in action for St Anne's against Na Gaeil Oga in the Dublin AFL.
Both brothers rolled back the years with their classical contributions.
Nipper scored one of the goals-of-the-season. An arrow to the corner of the sack.
For years, his calling card was nicking a goal from the edge of the square.
Smokey hit two points, and his vision was opening more doors than the porter at The Shelbourne.
The Bohernabreena boys won the game, 3-13 to 3-7. There were some excellent passages of football.
But the standing ovations were reserved for two of the greatest characters that ever blessed the game.
St Anne's is in their heart. . . . and in their soul.
