Temp Head - p County Board meeting on

p County Board meeting on this Monday evening in Parnell Park - Minor Board at 7pm and County Board at 7.45. Executive meeting will follow immediately afterwards.

pThe County Board offers its sincere sympathy to Michael Ward (Naomh Fionnbarra), selector with the Dublin camogie Under 16 team, on the death of his mother last week.

pDublin Camogie Convention 2013 will be held in Parnell Park on Monday 2 December 2013. Registration will be at 7pm sharp. Convention papers have been sent to all clubs.

pReminder that all reports for inclusion in this year's Convention Book should be sent to An Rúnaí, Mona, by Friday next 15 November. Reports received after this date will not be included in Convention Book.

pWell done to everyone involved with the 33 teams participating in the under 12 Go Games Gala Blitzes which take place on Saturday 9th November 2013 at 8 different venues. Our thanks to the 8 hosting clubs. The under 11 Go Games Blitzes were also a resounding success.

pWell done to all who attended the trials for the Dublin Junior team which took place on Sunday 10 November in the Phoenix Park.

pThe Dublin Junior All-Ireland winning team lost to Scotland by 2 points in the Camogie/Shinty game played at Inverness. Players and management enjoyed their visit to Scotland. They were accorded a Civic Reception on arrival.

pWe will hold the U12 School of Excellence Blitz on Saturday 16th November the Phoenix Park. Meet in the usual camogie car park at 12 noon for registration - please only the girls that have been attending the sessions during the summer can attend the blitz. For those who ordered and paid for hoodies - they will be available to collect at the blitz. As there will be over 130 identical hoodies - can you mark your hoodies as your child receives it on the day (perhaps a marker on the tag etc.).

pCalling Female Referees of the future: A new starter referee course aimed at increasing the number of female referees in the game of Camogie will begin in mid-January 2014. We are asking any ex-players, adult players or female mentors, who wish to become referees to attend. pOur next Camogie Workshop takes places on this Wednesday 13th November - see details below: Date: Wed 13th Nov Time: 7.30pm Venue: Parnells GAA Club Title: "Creating Moving and Thinking Players".

The workshop is aimed at those coaching juvenile players and up to adult level - decision making and creating space are an integral part of playing and how to practice this in training and help players develop in this way that will be coached at this workshop. Cost of workshop is €5 and will include a hand-out resource.
