Temp Head

p Best of luck to our senior players and management as they take on Kilkenny in their first game of this year's senior All-Ireland championship in O'Toole Park this Saturday. Time to be confirmed, probably 1.0pm. All players on the panel are available for selection with the exception of St Jude's Helen Cosgrave who is out with a long-term back injury. p As part of their preparations for their All-Ireland championship clash with Tyrone on Saturday, 30 June the junior team has a challenge against Kildare this Friday at 7.30 in Commercials grounds.

p Championship draws were made at last County Board meeting in Parnell Park. Check www.dublincamogie.ie for details.

p Summer Cup starts tonight and will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout June and July. Players named on the county senior and junior and under-16 panels are not eligible to play in the Summer Cup. This subsidiary competition was put in place to give games to club players who are not involved in playing for Dublin in the All-Ireland championships.

p Under-12 Development School of Excellence - The Dublin County Camogie Board is organising a School of Excellence for U12 club players. This will consist of six coaching sessions in the Phoenix Park during the summer and an internal one--day blitz in the autumn. The coaching team will be lead by Joe Leonard (Lucan Sarsfields), Claire Graham (Cumann Barra Caoimhin) and Niall Mullen (Faughs/Celtic). They will be supported by other coaches including a range of players from the Dublin junior and senior camogie panels.

p Clubs are invited to send nominations, to include players' names and a contact phone, to County Development Officer John Murphy at murphjohnd@eircom.net.

If a club is aware in advance that a nominated player will be missing for three or more sessions a replacement may be nominated for those sessions.

Details of the replacement should be forwarded to murphjohnd@eircom.net in advance.

p Best of luck to the under-13 Development Squad players who will be in Tipperary for the under-13 Blitz on 23 June.

p Advanced Camp for 13-16 year olds will be held in Erin's Isle and Faughs on July 17, 18, 19. This advanced camp is aimed particularly at players who have not been selected on development squads.
