Wolves boss charged
Wolves head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has been charged with misconduct by the English Football Association.
The charge relates to the recent Championship match against Bristol City at Ashton Gate where the Portuguese was dismissed from the touchline and sent to the stands.
Wolves won the top of the table clash 2-1 despite having captain Danny Batth sent off after only 14 minutes. Four minutes later Nuno was asked to leave the technical area by referee Peter Bankes, apparently for words spoken to the fourth official.
An English FA statement said: "Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo has been charged with misconduct following his sending-off during the game against Bristol City on 30 December 2017. He has until 6pm on 5 January 2018 to respond."
Paul Jewell has quit as Oldham's assistant manager after just over a month in his role with the Sky Bet League One club. Former Wigan and Bradford boss Jewell, 53, was appointed as Latics manager Richie Wellens' assistant at the end of November.
