Trimble signs new two-year deal

Andrew Trimble has signed a new two-year contract with Ulster and Ireland. The deal will run until June 2017. Trimble made his senior debut for Ulster against Cardiff in September 2005 and has gone on to represent his province 188 times, scoring 64 tries.

He won his first cap for Ireland against Australia in November 2005. The 30-year-old has made 57 appearances for Ireland, scoring 16 tries. His last appearance for Ireland was in the 23-17 victory over Argentina last June.

Trimble was named 2014 RWI Player of the Year after playing a starring role in the successful RBS 6 Nations Championship campaign and for his contribution in Ulster's march to last season's Pro12 semi-final.
