Torres joy at Chelsea move
FERNANDO Torres was today celebrating his move to Chelsea which will earn him a staggering £8million annually over five and a half years.
The Spaniard made no secret of his delight in leaving Liverpool for Chelsea -- delivering a nasty parting blow to Liverpool fans by saying that he'd finally signed for a "big club".
"Chelsea is the kind of team I like to play against. It's the kind of team I want to play for,'' said Torres.
"This is the target for every footballer -- to try to play for one of the top clubs in the world and I can do it now. I have to be very, very happy as I am."
Andy Carroll's £35m move to Liverpool from Newcastle United as Torres' replacement also went, though Carroll claimed he didn't want to leave St James' Park and was "gutted" to be "pushed out the door".
