Tbilisi is set for sell-out

IRELAND will have to battle with a sell-out crowd in Tbilisi on Sunday as almost all of the 50,000 tickets have already been sold, writes Aidan Fitzmaurice.

Once tonight's friendly against Oman is out of the way the Irish squad can concentrate on the opening match of the Euro 2016 qualifiers but Martin O'Neill's outfit face a stiff test in Tbilisi.

The estimated travelling support of 450 Irish fans will be vastly outnumbered by an expected capacity crowd, buoyed by a strong home record in the recent World Cup campaign.
