Tottenham have completed the signing of Burnley defender Kieran Trippier on a five-year contract.
The 24-year-old right-back, who is believed to have had a £3.5million release clause, leaves Turf Moor after four years.
"When I first heard that the club was interested I didn't have to think twice," he said. "It's such a big club and now I just can't wait to get started and show everyone what I can do.
"I'll take every opportunity I get with both hands and hopefully play my part for everyone at the club.
"Whenever I get a chance, I want to do well for the other players, the staff and, of course, the fans."
Trippier only signed a new three-year contract with Burnley following their promotion to the Premier League a year ago but written into that deal was an agreement for him be allowed to move on should they be relegated, which subsequently happened.
