Sligo get past spirited Bohs

Sligo Rovers took all three points against a spirited Bohemians with a 3-2 win at the Showgrounds.

Eamon Zayed put Rovers back in front after Jake Hyland had cancelled out David Cawley's first-half opener, though Rovers ultimately needed Danny North's late strike to secure the win as Bohs substitute Dinny Corcoran pulled a goal back in the last minute. Bohs made a host of changes with one eye on Friday's FAI Cup quarter-final against St Pat's, but Sligo's Cawley swept home the opener five minutes before the break.

After the restart Bohs levelled through Hyland's header before Zayed had the home side back in front on the hour-mark, smashing the home from close range.

North finished from a tight angle with three minutes to go before Corcoran's consolation.
