Sandro is Spurred on by dream of title win

TOTTENHAM midfielder Sandro believes his side can still win the Premier League this season.

Spurs lie eight points behind Manchester City after suffering a last-gasp 3-2 defeat to the league leaders on Sunday.

Sandro did not feature due to a calf injury, but saw enough to remain confident that they can continue their title push.

"We've still got our minds on the title," he said. "That's been our objective since we started working our way up.

"We've got a great squad, and we've got to think bigger than a Champions League place."

Sandro has not featured since limping off against West Brom on January 3, and his absence has coincided with a slight dip of form for the Londoners.

The club are unbeaten in 10 league games that the Brazilian has started this season and he hopes his return can help.

"Things have gone well when I've played this season, and that's why I feel we're still in the mix for the title," he said.
