Sam: 'Coleman back in training'
Everton manager Sam Allardyce has confirmed that Ireland captain Séamus Coleman has returned to Everton training as his recovery from a broken leg continues.
The former Sligo Rovers right-back suffered a horrific injury against Wales in a World Cup qualifier at the Aviva Stadium last March and has been sidelined ever since.
However, Allardyce, speaking at Everton's annual general meeting, said: "Seamus Coleman is due back. He has started training."
No further details were given by Allardyce or Everton about the Donegal man's return but, despite the Toffees' struggles of late, it is not likely the 29-year-old will be rushed back due to the serious nature of the injury.
Coleman has made over 200 appearances for Everton since his move from Sligo back in 2009.
