New Newcastle signing Fitz Hall is relishing the prospect of linking up again with former Crystal Palace and QPR team-mate Wayne Routledge.
Experienced defender Hall yesterday completed a loan switch from QPR to St James's Park until the end of the season, just days after Routledge headed north from Loftus Road on a permanent basis.
The Magpies travel to face Leicester this evening looking to maintain their lead over Nottingham Forest at the top of the Championship table.
Chris Hughton's men head into the weekend three points ahead of Forest following their 2-0 win at home to Crystal Palace in midweek.
Routledge set up Nile Ranger for the second goal in that victory -- and Hall is pleased to once again be linking up with the winger.
Hall said: "I spoke with Wayne before I came but all he wanted to tell me was all about how he set up the goal on Wednesday night.
"It's the third club we've been together at -- just as well I get on with him. He was my room-mate at QPR so I had to come up here because I was lonely without him!" The Foxes go into the game looking to half a run of two straight 1-0 defeats which have seen them slip out of the play-off places.
