NEW Cork City manager Roddy Collins hopes to bring former City hero George O'Callaghan back to the club, writes Aidan Fitzmaurice.
Cork began pre-season training yesterday with the prospect of a third winding-up order, due before the courts in Dublin on February 1st, looming over the club, but Collins is still trying to assemble a squad for the 2010 season.
And that could see midfielder O'Callaghan return for a third spell at the club. "George is brilliant. He's a player I want at this club and I'm sure we'll come to an arrangement," said Collins.
Dundalk have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Matt Gregg from Bohemians, while winger Owen Morrison has moved from Sligo Rovers to Portadown.
Division One side Shelbourne have re-signed David Cassidy and Colin O'Brien from last season's squad.
