Paul Pogba set to snub Chelsea and Man City for Real Madrid in €70m move

He’s one of the most in-demand players in world football, but Paul Pogba’s wage demands may stop any move back to the Premier League, it is being reported.

The 22-year-old Juventus midfielder is being sought by Chelsea, City and former club Man United but his wage demands are proving to be a stumbling block.

The France star has the minor distraction of the Champions League Final against Barcelona next week to prepare for so his future won’t be resolved until then.

However, Spanish paper AS reports that Real Madrid are ready to spend €70 million on him and give him a bumper €10million a year contract.

Pogba has scored 11 goals for Juventus this season and has been instrumental in the Turin's side resurgence as a European football power this season.

Pogba spent three years at Manchester United and left for Juventus after refusing to sign a new contract.

Former manager Alex Ferguson accused the midfielder of disrespecting Manchester United when he left.

In other news, if Rafa Benitez becomes the new Real Madrid manager, Raheem Sterling is said to be top of his shopping list.

The forward is preparing to exit Anfield and Manchester City, Man United and Chelsea have already expressed interest. However, former Reds boss Benitez has put Sterling at the top of his shopping list and Madrid are lining up a €50m bid.

Closer to home, the man who is said to be top of Liverpool’s shopping list, Danny Ings is said to be interesting Spurs who see him as foil for 21 goal hero Harry Kane.
