LIAM BUCKLEY has brought highly-rated midfielder Jordan Keegan back to St Patrick's Athletic.
Keegan made his League of Ireland debut with St Pat's and also had a spell with Monaghan United last year before making a move to Scunthorpe United, but after making just four appearances for the League One side he has opted to come home and has hooked up with the Saints, becoming the club's eighth close-season signing.
And there was a boost for fellow Saint Ryan Coombes when he was named in the Ireland U19 squad by Paul Doolin.
The U19s play the Czech Republic in two home friendlies next month and Coombes has made it into the panel as the only home-based player.
There's also a recall for Celtic prospect Paul George, who had been sidelined by a broken leg, while recent West Ham signing Sean Maguire also makes the cut.
