Sheffield Wednesday boss Carlos Carvalhal is hoping home advantage can help send his side to Wembley for the second year running.

The Owls take on Huddersfield in the Sky Bet Championship play-off semi-final second leg tonight knowing that victory will take them back to the final after Sunday's first leg at the John Smith's Stadium ended 0-0.

A sell-out crowd is expected at Hillsborough and Carvalhal wants a repeat of the home leg of last season's semi-final, where a raucous atmosphere helped Wednesday to a 2-0 win over Brighton.

"We understand that playing at home we must achieve what we want, the fans will give us a lot of energy," the Portuguese said.

"Last season when we played Brighton at home our fans had a big impact on the game, we won 2-0 and had a fantastic performance. The crowd can have a big impact, it was the same at Huddersfield, they felt a big energy from their fans.

"Our fans are amazing, it will be sold out and they will play a very important role, but we must do our job of course.

"We know exactly what we must do."
