O'Shea salutes goal rush

STAND-IN skipper John O'Shea is delighted that his Sunderland team mates are finally lifting the goalscoring burden off Steven Fletcher after the Black Cats' 3-0 victory over West Ham.

Seb Larsson's screamer and second- half goals from wingers Adam Johnson and James McClean gave Martin O'Neill's men their most emphatic win of the season.

"It was nice to see the goals spread around the team -- that takes the pressure off Steven Fletcher a little bit," the Republic of Ireland international said.

"Fletch did brilliantly against the big lads -- he won so many headers and worked his socks off.

"He nearly scored today and probably thinks he should have put the ball away before Johnson scored, but overall I think the whole team was great today.

"Our performance was very good. We really put the pressure on West Ham and created lots of chances."
