Nimani pens Burnley five-month loan deal

France U21 striker Frederic Nimani is set to become Brian Laws' first signing as manager of Burnley, subject to international clearance.

The Clarets have agreed a five-month loan deal with a view to a permanent contract for the AS Monaco forward, who came through the Ligue 1 club's youth system.

The 21-year-old has already had loan spells with FC Lorient and Sedan, and had interested other Premier League clubs, but he opted to join Burnley, who sit 15th and a point above the relegation zone.
