Ireland Group D rivals Serbia came from a goal down to beat Georgia 3-1 in Tbilisi .

Georgia went one up after just six minutes when Nika Katcharava pounced on a woefully underhit backpass from Aleksandar Kolarov to open the scoring.

But Tadic made no mistake in equalising on the stroke of half-time when Otar Kakabadze fouled Filip Kostic, the Southampton man tucking his penalty coolly into the corner.

Aleksandar Mitrovic's tremendous strike put the visitors ahead on 64 minutes, before Mijat Gacinovic tapped home to end all Georgian hopes four minutes from time.

The result comes as Serbia's third win of the qualifiers so far and they remain unbeaten.
