McCulloch 'gutted' over Old Firm red
Lee McCulloch has hit out at his sending off in the final Old Firm derby of the season. Rangers midfielder McCulloch saw red in Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat at Celtic, ruling him out of Sunday's final Premier League game of the campaign against Motherwell.
The 31-year-old was dismissed after picking up a second yellow card for a tackle on Aiden McGeady, though television replays suggested he may have made no contact with the winger.
"I am gutted my season ended on Tuesday night," McCulloch said. "I never made any contact with their player. I wanted to play my part on the final day. The SPL trophy is being presented but I won't be involved."
