Mahon fired up for Bohs clash
ST PATRICK'S Athletic manager Pete Mahon is relishing tonight's do-or-die Premier Division derby clash with Bohemians at Dalymount Park.
The Saints go into tonight's game knowing that a win will see them move into the top two at the very least, as Shamrock Rovers and Sligo Rovers play their league games later in the weekend.
But Mahon is wary of a Bohemians side that crashed to UCD on Tuesday night - a loss that dealt the Gypsies' title chances a huge blow. "It's a must-win game for both teams for different reasons. For us every game from now until the end of the season is must-win if we have any hope of finishing top - and even then it may not be enough.
"Bohs have to win for different reasons and we're aware that they're trying to catch us and win a European spot for themselves. Personally I like going to Dalymount because it's a good pitch and Pats always bring a good crowd over so the atmosphere should be great."
Mahon is again expected to be without midfielder Dave Mulcahy who is suffering from a hamstring injury. Evan McMillan was suffering from a calf strain earlier in the week but is expected to be fit.
