Liverpool to bid for £10m Zaha

LIVERPOOL manager Kenny Dalglish has put in a personal call to Crystal Palace manager Dougie Freedman over the availability of striker Wilfried Zaha.

The Reds are in the running to sign the £10m-rated forward having kept tabs on the England Under-19 international for 18 months.

Dalglish has contacted Freedman with regards to the Anfield club's interest in Zaha. During the phone call, Dalglish asked the Eagles manager more about the 19-year-old's character than his footballing ability.

JUVENTUS are planning a move for Manchester City's out-of-favour defender Aleksandar Kolarov.

The 26-year-old Serbia left-back, who joined City from Lazio in a £16m deal in 2010, has started just five Premier League games this season.
