Limerick pick Taylor

LIMERICK FC will unveil Scottish coach Stuart Taylor as their new manager later this week.

The Shannonsiders have been without a manager since the surprise sacking of Pat Scully just weeks after he led the club to promotion to the Premier Division.

Taylor -- who made 25 appearances for Drogheda United in the 2002/03 season -- will have little time to settle into the role as Limerick have only a handful of players signed while some of their Premier Division rivals have already begun pre-season training.
