'Let's Boh for it'
Bohemians are confident they have enough about them to match, and beat, their Danish opponents in the UEFA Youth League tomorrow night and progress to the next round of the competition.
Craig Sexton's U19 outfit are at home to Danish side Midtjylland in the second leg of their European battle, Bohs with an away goal from a 2-1 first leg defeat.
That goal was scored by Beaumont lad Steven Nolan and the forward, now in his fourth year at the club, feels Sexton's side can get through at Dalymount Park tomorrow (7pm) and into the next round, where they'd face the winners of the tie between Basel and Hamilton Academicals.
"Over there, it was an eye opener in the second half, we dominated possession for the last 20-25 minutes. If we started as if it is a normal game, and play our game, we will easily put it up to them," says Nolan.
"When you are playing League of Ireland, especially underage, Europe is never on the radar, and this shows how far the league has come.
"It's kind of surreal, just Midtjylland's stadium, the facilities, it was the next level.
"But I don't think it's a big step up, it was 2-1, I know it's a loss but it was a positive result. It wasn't as big a step up as people might think."
