Kenny reinforces Rovers
STEPHEN KENNY has made more moves in the transfer market by bringing Killian Brennan and Daryl Kavanagh to Shamrock Rovers.
And Rovers' plans for next season have also been boosted with the news that highly rated winger Billy Dennehy has re-signed for the Hoops.
Rovers were keen to add some firepower after losing U21 cap Karl Sheppard to Reading last week and the league champions have managed to beat off competition from clubs like Derry City and Cork City to sign striker Kavanagh from St Patrick's Athletic.
Kenny was also keen to work with Bohemians man Brennan again -- Brennan played under Kenny at Derry City. Despite efforts by Drogheda United to bring Brennan to United Park, he has opted to switch sides and join Rovers. Kerry native Dennehy was in demand after a successful season, but he has agreed terms on a new deal with the club.
Rovers had already confirmed the signings of defenders Colin Hawkins (Dundalk) and Graham Gartland (St Johnstone).
