Premiers dominate in last 16 of Wicklow Cup
FIFTEEN OF THE LAST 16 teams who will battle it out for the 2010 Wicklow Cup are now known after the second round ties last week.
With 2009 runners-up St. Peter's Bhoys A bowing out at the hands of Wicklow Town A, eight of the qualifiers are from the Premier Division.
That list includes Richmond Rovers who proved too good for 2008 champions Shillelagh United.

Rovers' decent double
IT WAS A GOOD DAY on the pitch for Wicklow Rovers' two side's.
Their first 11 overcame Enniskerry FC 3-1 at Ballyman Road. Brendan Manning, Aidan O'Neill and Andy Jameson were all on the score-sheet for the Division 1 visitors although Manning later departed with a bad injury. Stephen Smith bagged the Division 3 side's consolation.
Meanwhile at Whitegates, Rovers' second string advanced by a 2-0 score-line against Aughrim Rangers B. Colin Cassidy and John Connors shared the goals in the all Division 3 battle.
