The Republic of Ireland squad for the forthcoming FIFA Women's Under-17 World Cup in Trinidad and Tobago was announced by manager Noel King last week.
Of the 21-strong squad, 15 are based in Ireland, while Reading trio Harriet Scott, Stacie Donnelly and Grace Moloney are all included, as are American based trio of Jillian Maloney of Roswell Santos and Montclair Thunderbolts duo Zoe Boyd and Kerry Glynn.
The Girls in Green will open their campaign against the famous yellow jerseys of Brazil on September 6th in the Larry Gomes Stadium in Trinidad. The Irish, under King's guidance for the final time following his appointment as the men's Under-21 boss, remain in the same venue for their second game four days later against Canada.
King's side will complete their group games in Tobago at the Dwight Yorke Stadium on Monday 14th of September with Ghana providing the opposition although the Irish management team will be hoping that the game will not be their last in the competition.
Earlier this year the squad lost out in the final of the European Championships to Spain, but their top-two finish ensured qualification for next week's World Cup.
