Shamrock Rovers travel to Limerick this evening aiming to close the gap on Derry City who currently occupy third spot in the SSE Airtricity Premier Division.

Rovers boss Stephen Bradley has seen his side slip of late following defeats to Bohemians and Derry, but is aiming to get back on track with a win over a Limerick side whose last League win came in June.

Sligo Rovers host Bray Wanderers in tonight's other Premier Division clash.

Rovers, meanwhile, drew Dublin rivals Shelbourne in the second round of the FAI Cup following yesterday evening's draw.

FAI Cup second round draw

Shelbourne v Shamrock Rovers; Bangor Celtic v Longford Town; St Patrick's Athletic v Galway Utd; Cork City v Athlone Town; Limerick v Finn Harps; Bluebell Utd v Cabinteely; Drogheda Utd v Cobh Wanderers; Crumlin Utd v Dundalk.
