SWEDEN coach Erik Hamren is likely to hand former Sunderland man Tobias Hysen – son of Liverpool legend Glenn – the key role of playing in behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Stockholm tomorrow night.
The Swedes trained in the Friends Arena last night with the roof closed, making the place somewhat warmer than the chilly conditions outside.
A final session was set to take place in the stadium this morning to allow Hamren to fine-tune his side.
Earlier this week, local media tipped PSV man Ola Toivonen as the player earmarked to play in front of the midfield and supply Ibrahimovic, but on the evidence of last night's session, Hysen looks in pole position for the role.
SWEDEN (probable): Iskasson (Kasimpasa); Lustig (Celtic), Granqvist (Genoa), Olsson (WBA), Safari (Anderlecht); Larsson (Sunderland), Kallstrom (Spartak Msocow), Elm (CSKA Moscow), Kacaniklic (Burnley); Hysen (Gothenburg); Ibrahimovic (PSG).
