Greg backs Preston
Ireland international Greg Cunningham believes that his Preston side have the potential to be in the shake-up for promotion at the end of the season.
Preston remain just outside the play-off places but their confidence is high ahead of tonight's clash with Aston Villa as they earned a point against Championship leaders, and title favourites, Wolves last weekend.
"We got a good point at the weekend against Wolves, and now we will look towards tonight with Villa away and look to put in a good performance," says the Galway native.
"After games when we don't win there is serious disappointment and that just shows the belief we have in the dressing room and we know what we can achieve.
"We want to be picking up those points so that come the first weekend in May we are where we want to be."
Meanwhile, Preston manager Alex Neil says he's ready to call on Irish prospect Adam O'Reilly (16), an unused sub last week, if needed, despite his age.
"Adam made the bench and if we had needed to put him on the pitch, that would not have been an issue," said Neil.
