JACK Grealish has asked not to be included in the Ireland U21 squad for friendlies against the USA and Russia in Marbella later this month sparking instant concern about his future plans.
Ireland boss Noel King revealed that he had consulted with Grealish's father Kevin and had been told that the young Aston Villa prospect wants to concentrate on his club career.
"I spoke to Jack's dad. He feels he wants to concentrate on his Aston Villa career," said King after announcing his squad. "That's his choice and I accept it so I'll be focusing on working with the players we have with us. We have a lot of work to do," said King.
