Dubs lead assault on the North

THE FAI Schools International Boys side will host joint holders Northern Ireland in tomorrow's Centenary Shield opener in Limerick.

Pike Rovers FC will be the venue as the U18 boys kick-off their campaign on home soil and look to get off to a positive start.

The visitors come into the game looking to make up for a 4-0 loss at fellow joint-holders Scotland.

Ireland boss Ollie Horgan, from St Eunan's College, is looking for his side to respond to defeat following their loss to Australia in a January warm-up game in Dublin.

Ireland have not beaten their Northern counterparts in four years and will hope Leinster stars Eoin Hyland (Oatlands College) and Paul Moffat and Ryan Matthews (both Clonkeen) can do the trick this time.

Leinster are the reigning InterProvinical champions, so Jack Doherty (Comeragh College) is another who will be hoping to pull on the famous green jersey come kick-off time tomorrow.
