Draws made for MMI and Sidney Bedlow 2nd Rnd

The second round draw of the MMI Cup has thrown together some very interesting ties with four of the top six in Division 2 clashing.

The second round of the Sidney Bedlow Cup was also made last week but that is a little harder to predict at present with so many first round games still yet to be played.

The full 2nd round draw is as follows however:

AFC Belgrave 2nds or Terenure FC v Arthur Griffith Park 2nds or Finsbury Park, CMH FC v Lazio or Three Trout Rovers, Rialto Madrid v Castle Celtic 2nds, Shankill or KCR Utd v Portmarnock AFC 2nds or Portmarnock AFC, Sth William Street Celtic or Beech Park 2nds v Seaview Celtic, Stedfast Utd 2nds or Booterstown Utd v Hermitage Clinic FC or Conwell Rovers, Terenure FC 2nds or Cloncastle Utd v St Anthony's, Walkinstown Athletic v Beech Park.

Ardmore's Murray bags three against Harding

After suffering a heavy defeat three weeks ago in Division 2A, Ardmore Rovers have bounced back in some style with 11 goals in their last two games - both convincing victories.

A 6-2 win at St Mary's was followed up last week with a 5-0 win at home to Harding IF FC 2nds.

There were some fine performances from Rovers players on the day, including Colm Doyle and Andy Galligan, but it was Barry Murray who was the star of the show for Ardmore.

Murray's hat-trick capped off a good passing performance from the home side and continues to keep Rovers in the mix at the top end of the Division 2A table.
