NEW Bohemians boss Keith Long has brought midfielder Kealan Dillon with him from Athlone Town ahead of next season's Premier Division campaign.

Meanwhile, Sligo Rovers have announced new deals for midfielder John Russell and full-back Alan Keane. Russell cited new manager Owen Heary as the main reason for staying at the Showgrounds, saying: "Owen was a winner as a player and he's a young and ambitions manager who I feel I can improve working under."

Newly-promoted Longford Town have also moved quickly to re-sign the majority of last season's squad, with former Shamrock Rovers midfielder Stephen Rice the latest to commit to the midlanders.
