Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea could be inching closer to a Real Madrid transfer after the Altrincham house where he is thought to be living was put up for sale.
The £2.75m six-bedroom property in Bowdon was put up for sale on Wednesday and it is understood the Spaniard's family were living there last season.
De Gea (above) has refused to sign a new United contract and, although Real are yet to lodge an official bid, the 24-year-old could join the 10-times European Cup winners as part of Sergio Ramos' possible move to Old Trafford.
United supporters voted De Gea as the Sir Matt Busby Player of the Year for the last two seasons and he was named in the Premier League Team of the Year for 2014-15.
United are believed to be ready to use De Gea as part of a player-plus-cash deal for Real central defender Sergio Ramos, who, according to reports in Spain, has asked for a transfer.
The Reds are believed to have offered to double Ramos' weekly wage to €230,000-a-week after tax.
