Coventry in FA Cup shock

Coventry were on the end of the biggest upset of FA Cup first-round weekend as they crashed 2-1 at home to Worcester City.

The Sky Blues, who won the trophy in 1987, were undone by two goals from Sean Geddes as the Conference North minnows secured a famous victory.

Elsewhere, Ryman Premier League side Maidstone claimed a replay after a 0-0 draw at League Two Stevenage, and 2008 winners Portsmouth were held 2-2 by Hampshire rivals Aldershot at Fratton Park.

Norton United, of the Evo-Stik South, saw their cup run come to an end as they were beaten 4-0 at home by Conference high-flyers Gateshead.
