Chris to swap Posh for Dons
Aberdeen will complete their move for Peterborough's Irish midfielder Christopher Forrester after the two club agreed on a fee.
Forrester (25) is under contract with the League One side until the end of next season, but he's been transfer-listed by the club as part of a mass clear-out of players following their failure to make the promotion playoffs.
A number of League One rivals were keen on the Dubliner but Aberdeen have shown the most interest and a deal should be concluded in a matter of days after the clubs came to an agreement on a deal which should see Forrester move for around £200,000.
The transfer will be of interest to Forrester's former club St Patrick's Athletic as they will be entitled to a slice of any transfer fee.
Aberdeen finished second in the SPL last season so have guaranteed themselves Europa League football, entering at the second qualifying round stage and Forrester would relish a return to European football.
Forrester was named in a provisional Ireland squad by Martin O'Neill for the friendly games against Switzerland and Slovakia before the Euro 2016 finals but he didn't make the final squad.
Cork-born defender Anthony O'Connor is set to leave Aberdeen and move south to England after a two-year spell at Pittodrie.
