Cech moves closer to making final decision on his future
BRADFORD City's FA Cup hero Mark Yeates (inset) is looking for a new club after the Irish lad was released by the Bantams.
Dubliner Yeates (30) scored five goals in 50 games for Bradford last season, including a goal in their shock FA Cup win away to Chelsea, but City have now decided not to offer him a new contract.
"We budgeted going forward and the players we want looking at the squad. We decided we couldn't offer Yeatesy a contract," manager Phil Parkinson said today
"I thought he did well in his time for us, especially last year.
"He had to have the op to get his shoulder sorted. But he's always worked hard on the training ground and never moaned about it."
