Cats seeking cup revenge - McClean
IRISH sensation James McClean believes Sunderland can exact revenge on Arsenal this weekend in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
The 22-year-old winger scored a classy goal to give the Black Cats the lead on Saturday but two late strikes from substitutes Aaron Ramsey and the departing Thierry Henry saw the points head south.
McClean (pictured) believes his side can take heart from that gutsy display and book their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals this weekend.
"Hopefully we can put the record straight," he said. "We've been on a great run of form and there's another game against Arsenal coming in the cup now.
"Arsenal will know it won't be an easy game. Hopefully we can get a better result.
"It was nice to score but in the end it didn't count for anything.
"It was a great effort from ourselves, though, and we deserved something.
"The work-rate was there, the quality was there but it's always disappointing to concede a goal in the last few minutes."
