Bray pay penalty as Dundalk make most of ref's odd call

REFEREE Dave McKeon made a bad call at the Carlisle Grounds as he gave a penalty to Bray Wanderers in the second minute against Dundalk as Shane O'Neill was in the process of scoring.

Liam Burns fouled the striker, but the youngster managed to beat Peter Cherrie -- and yet the English netminder stopper kept out the resulting spot-kick. Garry Breen headed home Dundalk's winner as the game entered injury-time to rub salt into Wanderers' wounds.
