ST PAT'S have already started doing their homework on Europa League opponents Hannover and may even go on a spying mission.
Due to a late start to the Bundesliga, Hannover's first competitive game of the season will be away to Pats in Dublin on Thursday, but the Germans are firmly in pre-season mode, and boss Liam Buckley will consider sending a scout to see them in a friendly against Wisla Krakow tomorrow.
For their part, Hannover are taking the Pats game seriously. The Bundesliga side sent a six-strong delegation to Richmond Park last night.
"They took the match tickets home with them today to sell," says club secretary Anthony Delaney.
"We would hope to sell out the home game as we have had a lot of interest in the game, a lot of foreign nationalities have been on the phone and are interested in the game."
