Bohs settle former player debts
BOHEMIANS have wrapped up any outstanding issues with former players and paid off the remaining cash owed to Paul Keegan, Raffaele Cretaro, Ken Oman, Ruardhi Higgins and Gareth McGlynn.
The payment was made after the Department of Sport allowed Bohs to use Dalymount Park as security for funding raised from fans.
"The PFAI would like to confirm that monies owed to former players of Bohemian FC have been paid today, Tuesday 22 February 2011, the last day of the League of Ireland transfer window," a PFAI statement read. "We would like to thank Bohemian FC and the FAI; Bohemians President Robert Dunne, the club's General Manager John Doran and in particular club Treasurer Chris Brien, FAI Chief Executive John Delaney and League Director Fran Gavin. Without their assistance this situation would not have reached a satisfactory conclusion."
