Bohemians raid sets up Crues battle

BOHEMIANS have earned a meeting with Crusaders in the quarter-finals of the Setanta Sports Cup as a reward for their win over Portadown.

Aaron Callaghan's young side came away from Shamrock Park with a 1-0 win last night to see off the Crues 3-1 on aggregate.

Adam Martin made his debut with the only goal of the game 10 minutes from time.

Glentoran showed their class and experience as they eased past an inexperienced Bray Wanderers side 3-0 at the Oval to win 7-2 on aggregate, and the Glens will now play Sligo Rovers in the last eight.

Darren Boyce (2) and Colin Nixon were on target as Bray struggled to recover from the 4-2 first-leg loss at the Carlisle Grounds.

Former Derry City man James McClean was part of the crowd at the Brandywell as Derry City outclassed Lisburn Distillery 3-0 to go through 7-0 on aggregate.

Patrick McEleney, Stephen McLaughlin and new signing Rory Patterson hit the net.

Derry will now take on Irish League leaders Linfield.

Crusaders, Linfield, Sligo Rovers and holders Shamrock Rovers all earned byes into the quarter-finals.
