Vengeful Saints to expose flimsy form of Munster

MUNSTER cannot continue to escape by just doing enough in the Heineken Cup.

They will have to discover a level of form that has eluded them to this point in the season.

Winning is one thing. They have done so five times in Pool One. Convincing is another. They have limped through, never making the impression that they can become third-time champions.

The Saints will be all-out to avenge the cruelest loss of their indifferent season when Ronan O'Gara's drop goal took away a prized win at Thomond Park.

The fact that The Saints are almost guaranteed to be excluded from the quarter-finals will not detract from their sense of injustice in Limerick.

Munster's saving grace, so far, has been the exemplary scrummaging of Springbok BJ Botha. Even he will be under severe pressure from The Saints front row unless, of course, coach Jim Mallinder goes with a weakened side.
