Tricky Italian test for Leinster

LEINSTER coach Matt O'Connor knows Treviso have created a 'thou shall not pass' mentality at their home ground.

It is right there in the statistics. They have succumbed to the charms of the Ospreys as their only home defeat in the PRO12 for 12 months.

SOLID

Leinster have been solid, not spectacular, in carving out four straight wins, O'Connor making the improvement of their defence his priority.

And he has done well there in the Heineken Cup, limiting the damage done by the Ospreys and by Castres Olympique.

It has not been so successful in the PRO12, where Leinster have conceded 131 points and 10 tries in seven rounds of the league.

Of course, the loss of personnel to the November internationals will be relevant on Sunday. They are down to the bones on their squad.

This is where the leadership and experience of Shane Jennings, Lote Tuqiri and Jimmy Gopperth will come to the fore.

They have to perform.

IMPRESSIVE

The Italians will look to bring their scrum and maul into the game. This is where the impressive Martin Moore must continue to show his value at tight-head with another real prospect, Tadhg Furlong, ready from the bench.

Verdict: Leinster
