Silverware surely a certainty with Malahide Development

Students involved in Malahide Community School's Transition Year Rugby Programme hit the classroom this week for a brainstorming session.

On hand to guide the students was Leinster community rugby officer Christian Stemmet, whose main aim was to hold a player-driven, informative session with the lads providing most of the information and doing the problem-solving.

Topics that were covered during the intensive one-hour session were match preparation, mental preparation for the position played, implementing tactics and home and away preparation.

Concentrating

With the school having been semi-finalists and then finalists for the past two years in the Leinster Development Shield, it is hoped that by concentrating on areas like these off the pitch that the lads may be able to go one step further this season and win some silverware.
