Schools go blue on trophy tour

WHAT a few weeks it has been on the Heineken Cup Trophy Tour.

Leinster Rugby has been very busy showing the Heineken Cup to more than 331 schools in the past four months.

This means that more than 53,000 students have got to hold, kiss and hug the cup.

All the crew in Leinster Rugby have been very impressed by the sheer number of schools that turned their school Leinster Blue when we arrived.

The Leinster Rugby Heineken Cup Trophy Tour is proudly sponsored by the Bank of Ireland and it is a great way to introduce rugby to your school.

It allows pupils to find out more about one of Ireland's fastest growing sport as well as ask numerous questions about their favourite players.

We have recently put up more than 3,000 photos of the Trophy Tour on Facebook from the 10 counties we have visited: Kildare, Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Westmeath, Longford, Meath, Louth and Wicklow.

Find your old school on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/LeinsterRugbyTrophyTour/photos_stream and tag friends and family on display.

Leinster Rugby is looking forward to meeting all its loyal followers in Wicklow and Wexford over the next three weeks.
