Munster to give Cardiff Blues

IT could just be that the Munster warhorses are gathering momentum at the right end of the season. They are past-masters at the art of timing their run to perfection.

It was noticeable how content their coach Tony McGahan was to see his troops become the first club to take a bonus-point win away from the highly competitive Benetton Treviso last week.

It takes quite a lot to publicly move McGahan. He had every right to his satisfaction. The team is beginning to click and wing sensation Simon Zebo is a large part of the reason.

Then the news came that the Queenslander would be returning to Australia at the end of the season.

For large parts of this competition, Munster have not looked sure of themselves. Still, they have laboured to victory often enough to reside in second place, hot on the heels of The Ospreys for a home semi-final.

McGahan will want to leave on a high in Europe and in the PRO12. His players will empty themselves to make it three leagues in four years.
