UNCAPPED Munster forwards Paddy Butler and James Coughlan have been drafted into the Irish squad to play the Barbarians next Tuesday.
Coughlan, who has recovered from surgery on his hand which ruled him out of action since Munster's Heineken Cup quarter-final defeat by Ulster, and Butler are primarily specialist No8s.
They will battle against their Munster team-mate Peter O'Mahony, Connacht's John Muldoon and Chris Henry of Ulster for back row places.
Declan Kidney will be without his Leinster players for the game as they are being rested with Ireland's game only two days after the Pro12 final.
The warm up match against the Baa-Baas is the first chance for Declan Kidney to judge players before they depart for their tour of New Zealand later this summer.
The Barbarians squad is made up of primarily southern hemisphere players plying their trade in Europe. They face England at Twickenham before the game against Ireland at Kingsholm, the home of Gloucester.
